The laboratory building for chemistry (LBC) will provide the Ingelheim location with an R+D and production expansion with GMP area for solids and liquids. The new building is implemented in a prominent location on the eastern edge of Boehringer Ingelheim and in close proximity to the central company functions, the company restaurant as well as the company’s head office – the Boehringer Ingelheim Center (BIC). The 6-storey building extension on an existing laboratory building creates new space for the laboratory, processing and offices as well as production areas with clean room requirements for various users.
